Theatre Arts
The BHS Theatre Department has a longstanding tradition of excellence, but its foundation of success extends beyond the accolades, beginning with strong fundamentals in the classroom. Theatre education is essential in schools because it fosters creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration- skills essential for both academic and personal growth. It also plays a key role in building self-confidence, encouraging students to step out of their comfort zone, express themselves, and take risks. Through theatre, students develop empathy, teamwork, and effective communication, all while gaining the emotional and social skills needed for future success.
